[VIDEO] "I Am What I Am" | Oceanlab

NOTE: Video beneath lyrics

I know you've read
So many books
You keep a breast of all the things you think you should
You've got your own home grown philosophy
And it works for you
But please don't try to make it work for me

You have nothing to prove
But you're trying much too hard
Stop trying to change me (Stop trying to change me)
I am what I am (I am what I am)
No I don't need you to save me (I don't need you to save me)
I am what I am (I am what I am)

I don't want you to show me (I don't need you to show me)
Because I stand where I stand (I stand where I stand)
I just need you to know me (just need you to know me)
Just know who I am (Just know who I am)

Just know who I am...
Just know who I am...

I know you feel
You need to prove
That you are good at something
Everything you try to do
And people have on your every word
That you deliver
With conviction
Though they may just be absurd

Leave your armor behind
Free your vulnerable mind

Stop trying to change me (Stop trying to change me)
I am what I am (I am what I am)
No I don't need you to save me (I don't need you to save me)
I am what I am (I am what I am)
I don't want you to show me (I don't need you to show me)
Because I stand where I stand (I stand where I stand)
I just need you to know me (just need you to know me)
Just know who I am (Just know who I am)

Just know who I am...

Rainforest Butterfly Walk At Lubuk Semilang

~by Andrew Rt Wong

When visiting in Malaysia, one of the places that tourists often want to visit is Langkawi. Once there, one is spoiled for choice for what to do in Langkawi, and since it houses an amazing array of ecotourism venues, why not give the rainforest butterfly walk at Lubuk Semilang a try. Located at Mount Raya, it is house to hundreds of species of butterflies along with waterfalls and undisturbed flora and fauna.

Lubuk Semilang Rainforest

There are tours available which enables tourists to get a more personalized and educated experience of the walk, for a certain fee of course, and one should dedicate at least three to four hours to this activity. The best time to view the butterflies is before noon, when the temperature is cool. Butterflies have a tendency to rest on trees and other plants when it's warm. Even so, you will find that some butterflies still swarm around flowers all day long. One should expect a good workout so don't be shocked if you end up getting a good sweat. After all, heat and sweat is what you should expect when visiting Malaysia as it is a tropical country. Even if you are not a nature lover, this is a must-have experience.

If you are there early enough, then brace yourself to see nature unwinding early in the morning during the rainforest butterfly walk. Amazing landscapes will great you.

Brace yourself to be in butterfly heaven, as it houses more species of butterflies than you can imagine. This rainforest has more species of butterflies than any other rainforest you have ever seen.

Being in a rainforest, one should expect to see other beautiful creatures besides butterflies. One of them is the great Hornbill. It is a spectacle to see this legendary bird flap its wings high above the canopy of the forest and to hear the whoosh of it flapping its wings. Wait to discover an array of unique insects, monkeys and flowers ever so breathtaking.

Being a responsible tourist, one should mind their actions during the walk so that the natural habitat of the flora and fauna is not disturbed, to enable other tourist to enjoy the same beauty and to avoid having any unwanted incidents. Since animals such as monkeys are roaming around in their natural habitat, any trash should be kept in the backpack and one should try minimising bringing food along as it may attract these animals. Remember, being a responsible tourist, it is ones duty to see that the ecotourism of Langkawi is maintained and not lost as so many others have been. Incidents such as injuries to human or even death will be avoided by being mindful of one's actions. ~~

Langkawi Coral promote Green Tourism, environmentally responsible travel to natural areas to appreciate nature and promote conservation, and sustain the well being of local people. We share with tourists not only the best of Penang and Langkawi in nature and adventure but also the importance of conservation to preserve rich natural splendors in Malaysia.
